Dr. Michael Polcino was featured on ZPTV and spoke about colorectal health. He discussed the recommended age for a colonoscopy, as well as general health guidelines for people dealing with colon or rectal conditions.

Dr. Polcino was featured on the news and discussed the advantages of minimally invasive robotic surgical techniques, which allows big operations with small incisions.

Dr. Polcino joined forces with the American Cancer Society to raise awareness about colorectal cancer in the Bronx. By encouraging people to get screened, cancer can be detected at an earlier stage, leading to much better results for the patient.

The American Cancer Society invited over a thousand Bronx residents for its annual Relay for Life on Saturday, May 20th, 2017 at Dewitt Clinton High School. During the event, ACS honored Dr. Michael Polcino for being a strong advocate of cancer screenings and the importance early detection plays on successful treatment of colon and rectal cancer.
